Each OPS Solution is tailored to each customer to meet the objectives in their Ag-Tech plan.
Below are a few example of common Ag-Tech solutions.
Water Management Solution
A Water Management Solution allows the monitoring and control of the water network on a property. While the design of each water network can vary, a water network typically includes a bore, pipelines, tanks, troughs, solar pumps and turkey nests.
An Water Management Solution monitors the water levels in tanks, the water flow from the bore and water pressure at key locations. An OPS solution can also control aspects of the water solution.
Typically you will need a variety of water tank monitors, turkey nest monitors, water pressure monitors, remote control and remote valve control products depending on your property to achieve a comprehensive Water Management Solution.
Remote Pump Control Solution
A Remote Pump Control solution can keep nominated water tanks full. This solution automatically turns on an electric or solar pump as required to keep the tank full and prevent wasteful overflow.
An Remote Pump Control Solution can automatically operate an electric bore to augment the water flow provided by a solar pump. The electric bore will be utilised on cloudy or rainy weather when the solar pump can’t operate.
Water Pipeline Management Solution
A Water Pipeline Management Solution can monitor water pressure at key pipelines within your water network. A drop in water pressure at a particular location will indicate an issue and this solution can help localise the problem.
Your network of water pressure monitors can be augmented with remote control water valves. If the pressure in one particular segment of water pipeline drops, that section of pipeline can be automatically isolated.
You can also remotely close water valves to paddocks that have been de-stocked. Or in times when you want to focus water flows in a particular area to fill tanks quickly after a water issue.
Paddock Management solution
A Paddock Management Solution can help you adopt different grazing strategies across numerous paddocks. This solution is augmented by soil moisture and temperature monitoring at various locations across various paddocks. The combined soil moisture and temperature monitoring at root level provides a strong indication to feed growing environments.
The combination of current soil moisture and temperature data with historical information will provide powerful input to your stock levels and stock management plans.
Typically you will need a variety of soil moisture and temperature monitors products depending on your property to achieve a Paddock Management Solution.
